Two Car Crash in Temple Leaves One Dead

KWTX reported that a driver in Central Texas was killed Saturday night as he left a regional airport in the Central Texas area.

Temple Police Department said, "They were called out to Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport around 11:30 p.m. for a reported crash."

Temple authorities believe that the driver of one vehicle was leaving the airport, and that vehicle leaving the airport was struck by another vehicle traveling on Airport Road in Temple.

The man who died in this crash was Random Allen, 38. Allen died at the scene near the airport in Temple. Authorities didn't identify which vehicle Allen was driving in, and the Temple Police Department's Traffic Reconstruction Unit was called to the scene to help out in the investigation.

Texas Department of Transportation helped to control the traffic after the crash occurred, and their was no more information available at the present time.
