Updates from Scott & White Memorial Hospital’s Morning Press Conference

Officials at Scott & White Memorial Hospital have confirmed that they have 9 patients in their care (8 men, 1 woman). Three patients remain in critical condition with neck, spine, and abdominal injuries. Two will require further surgery, while the last is undergoing diagnostics. Of the remaining patients, 2 have been classified as in "fair" condition, with the remainder in "good" condition possibly facing release later today. There are no expectations of further fatalities.

Scott & White's spokespeople say that those patients who are awake are in good spirits, and that the hospital has successfully reached all the victims' family members. "It's incredibly humbling to serve our military personnel," said Stephen Sibbitt, MD, during the conference.
