Waco Power Outage on Sunday

KWTX's Ke'Sha Lopez reported that some homes off of Lake Shore Drive in Waco lost power on Sunday afternoon.

All homes effected by the power outage have had power restored their homes as of 9:40 p.m. this evening.

Neighbors in the area said the power outage occurred after a driver of a vehicle hit a utility pole. Oncor's outage map showed at 2:30 p.m., around eight households were affected in the area off of Lake Shore Drive.

Waco authorities said they were investigating a scene in the same vicinity where a driver hit a mailbox. The mailbox incident took place on Forrester Lane.
