KWTX's Ke'Sha Lopez reported that this weekend's Veteran's Day parade was canceled due to inclimate weather in the forecast for Waco.

The city of Waco public information officer made the announcement to the public  on Saturday.

The city of Waco isn't the organizer of the event, but wanted to make sure that the word of the cancellation was widespread to the public.

President of the McLennan County Veterans' Association, Tom Parker, and his wife along with many other organizations have put in alot of time and effort into the parade.

The amount of time, effort, and resources were put in to celebrate the veterans here in Waco. Officials for the parade felt very unfortunate for the rainy conditions canceling the parade.
