A Copperas Cove elementary school student was placed in the Bell County Jail this week after allegedly attacking two teachers.

The incident happened Tuesday at Martin Walker Elementary, 100 FM3046. Police say the 10-year-old boy became violent because he didn't want to do his school work. He reportedly began yelling, throwing things, and tearing apart papers, then bit two teachers who tried to detain him.

The boy, whose identity has not be released due to his age, is in juvenile detention and faces two counts of assault on a public servant.
