If you live outside of the Temple Independent School District but would like to send your child to a Temple school, now is the time to apply for a transfer.

TISD issued the following public information release Monday:

Temple ISD is the district of choice for many families that do not live in the TISD boundary.

With an award winning, state leading technology program for all students K-12, a true thread of International Baccalaureate Programming K-12, dual language K-12 in Spanish, German offered K-12, one of only a handful of Project Lead the Way programs in an elementary school in the United States, and a state leading Career & Technology Education program, we understand why.

However, we only have a limited amount of space for out-of-district transfers, so if you want to Choose Temple ISD, we encourage you to submit your transfer request early.

Take a look around our website, then call (254) 215-6886 or e-mail communications@tisd.org with any questions.

Temple ISD is also accepting in-district transfers from April 18 – June 10. Simply fill out the same form.

TISD spokesman Matthew LeBlanc tells us now is the best time to submit a request and ensure that your child can transfer to the campus of your family's choice.
