Atlanta Food Critic Declares War on Texas by Saying Brisket isn’t Barbecue
You don't tug on Superman's Cape. You Don't Spit into the Wind. You sure as heck don't mess around with Jim. Or Slim for that matter. And for all that is holy, you don't claim that Texas Brisket isn't Barbecue.
For some reason, there's a foreign critic, who's based in Atlanta, that doesn't think that Texas Brisket should be considered Barbecue.
Obviously they use a lot of drugs in Atlanta. Makes me think that everyone I know from Louisiana is telling the truth about the people from the ATL.
Chris Fuhrmeister of Eater claims that Barbecue is "pork that's slow-cooked with smoke." That's it. Plain and simple.
