Police have arrested a man suspected of being involved in the robbery of a Killeen convenience store earlier this month.

In a media release, Carroll Smith with Killeen Police Public Affairs said 19-year-old Towlwen Dekeith Rowe was arrested in the 3700 block of Hereford Lane Thursday and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Knife. He was in the Killeen City Jail Friday in lieu of $100,000 bond.

According to the release, Rowe and at least one other man entered the Super Killeen Mart at 711 West Hallmark at 12:53 AM on Sunday, August 7 and demanded money. Rowe was reportedly armed with a knife. When they received cash, Rowe and company fled on foot.

Smith said the robbery is still under investigation. She did not say how many other suspects might be involved.
