This 100-year-old Sun City, Texas man has a much stronger sense of adventure than I do!

News partner KWTX reported that Al Blaschke celebrated his 100th birthday in Salado on Wednesday, but it wasn't to drink the local wine or beer. No. He jumped out of an airplane for his 100th birthday and in doing so became the second 100-year-old to skydive in the United States.

He was initially asked to go skydiving on his 97th birthday and he said yes. But then he changed his mind, telling his friend he will do it on his 100th birthday.

He told KWTX that he does not plan on slowing down.

Ready to do it four more years from now, when my grandsons, twin grandsons, graduate from college. I'll do it again.

I absolutely believe he will do it again.

Here's to more years of adventure Al! I'll take a page from your book about adventure any day.
