McCoy's Building Supply in Belton is celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship with a free Build-A-Stand Workshop.

Saturday, April 8 from 10 AM to Noon, kids PreK through 12th grade will be supplied with tools and materials they can use to design, build, and run their own lemonade stand. They'll learn how to stain, sand, and paint!

Families don't need to bring anything but a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.

The event is free, but families do need to register their kids.at eventbrite.com. (Click here for the registration page.) McCoy's Building Supply of Belton is located at 212 South Interstate Highway 35. (Click to view map.)

If you  have questions, you can contact the even organizers at forthoodarea@lemonadeday.org or the Belton Chamber of Commerce at (254) 939-3551.

According to the eventbride profile for the event, it's part of the 'Work the Plan' section of Lemonade Day, which is an annual, national initiative aimed at inspiring kids and educating them in the ways of entrepreneurship. I think that's an idea we can all get behind! (And if we get some tasty lemonade out of the deal, then it's a win-win.)
