Belton Police Investigating Shooting Death on Carla Kay Drive

Belton police are investigating a homicide in the 800 block of Carla Kay Drive.

Police spokesman Paul Romer said a frantic witness dialed 911 around 4:54 AM Saturday to report a shooting. When officers arrived, they found evidence of forced entry and a man lying dead from several gunshot wounds in the master bedroom.

Romer did not release the victim's name or age, nor did he provide many details about the suspects. He said police are searching for two African-American men.
