Everything is just bigger in Texas and that includes our pumpkin patches! Denton Valley Farms near Abilene quite possibly could be the biggest pumpkin patch in The Big Country.

Located off County Road 224 near Clyde, Texas, the farm is just a short drive from Abilene and spread out over 160 acres of land. I can't imagine the time it took to decorate this place. Seriously, it was impressive.

Not only do they have plenty of autumn-specific decor, they have a ton of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They boast that theirs is the largest pumpkin patch in the Big Country. I believe them.

In addition to all the pumpkins, there are a ton of activities, including a corn maze, paintball range, hayride through the haunted woods, and zombie target practice. When it came to taking down zombies, I did exactly as I do in video games - horrible.
