An event in Texas hopes to raise funds for local pet rescue and adoption facilities this Saturday. Join Suite Life Pet Resort & Spa and Hearts and Paws Animal Rescue for a fun-filled day to help raise donations.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that folks in Texas probably care about their animals more than anybody else in America. Not to knock other states, but more often than not, Texans treat their pets just like their kids. So when events like this come up, you can bet your bottom dollar that help is coming.

Vendor Fair Day
The fundraiser will take place this Saturday, June 8th at the Suite Life Pet Resort Facility at 3509 Beltway South in Abilene. There will be a ton of vendors ranging from food to snow cones and everything in between as well as raffles, baked goodies, t-shirts for sale, and more.
There will also be free micro-chipping as well so feel free to bring your furry friend with you to the event.
Why Support This Event?
There are approximately 7.6 million unwanted pets that enter animal shelters across the United States. And every 13 seconds, a healthy adoptable pet is euthanized in a shelter. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Texas is ranked the highest for animal euthanization in animal shelters.
Most of the time these animals are euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters as well as a lack of adoptions. As most know, animal shelters are mostly non-profit organizations that depend on funding from donations. Together, we can help lower the number of animals that are euthanized.
