As someone who grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and now lives in Texas. My two sports fandoms don't often collide. What do the Baltimore Orioles and Dallas Cowboys have in common? Not a whole lot except this awesome jersey exchange with my two favorite athletes of all time.
^7-year-old me was very excited when this went down. So yesterday Baltimore Orioles fans were freaking out when our potential rookie of the year was spotted with Dallas Cowboy cheerleader Claire Wolford.
Claire in Baltimore with Colton Cowser!
In case you're unaware, Colton Cowser is currently the odds on favorite to win the AL Rookie of the Year. Fox Sports has the current odds set at this.
Colton Cowser, Baltimore Orioles: -260 (bet $10 to win $13.85 total)
Austin Wells, New York Yankees: +190 (bet $10 to win $29 total)
Wilyer Abreu, Boston Red Sox: +3000 (bet $10 to win $310 total)
Mason Miller, Oakland A's: +4500 (bet $10 to win $460 total)
Ceddanne Rafaela, Boston Red Sox: +5000 (bet $10 to win $510 total)
Luis Gil, New York Yankees: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)
The 2021 Orioles first round pick is a Texas kid who grew up in Houston/Cypress,Texas. Crossing my fingers that he grew up a Dallas Cowboys fan. I am hoping that Colton is very busy in the month of October, BUT if he wants to catch a Cowboys game in November or December. He's more than welcome to the tailgate. Hopefully these two work out because as a Cowboys/Orioles fan it's not every day these two worlds collide.
