A Dallas family shared a video of a stripped down car they discovered outside their home.

There are a bunch of savages out there. You know, the kind of people who will steal from others and not think twice about it.

If you’ve never had a vehicle broken into, let me tell you, it leaves you feeling very violated. I didn’t even want to be in the vehicle after it happened to me. It took a few days for that feeling to go away.

The thing is, the thieves stole the stereo and some change I had in the van I owned at the time. So, I can’t imagine how the owner of the car in the below video feels after learning it had been stripped after being stolen.

I would assume the car would be considered a total loss after that, but I’m not positive. Hopefully, I’ll never find out for myself.

But that’s the harsh reality of living in the big city. Sure, crime happens everywhere, but more people equals more criminals.

All you can do is do your best to secure your belongings by locking your vehicle. Of course, there are those who are experts at breaking into vehicles. But in many cases, thieves are simply wandering through neighborhoods pulling on door handles, hoping to take advantage of low-hanging fruit.
