According to a survey conducted within the past year from datingnews.com, standards held by Texas women are not as obvious as some may assume. Let me explain.

KTSA reported the details, stating that, of the 3,000 single women surveyed in Texas between the ages of 18 and 35, 22% will NOT date a man who makes less than $100,000 each year.

To put this into perspective, nearly twice the amount of women (41%) in New York responded the same way.

These next responses may not come as a surprise to some of you, but 59% of women refuse to date men who do not own a car, and 64% will not enter a relationship with a man who still lives with his parents.

Further research revealed that 80% of Texas women are perfectly okay with dating a man without a college degree, and 85% are just fine with men who do not have a traditional job, like musician or artist.
