
Killeen High School Student Caught Trying to Bring Knife to School
Today, Killeen High School experienced an unexpected incident involving a student who attempted to bring a knife onto campus, according to KWTX. Principal Dr. Kara Trevino informed parents of the situation in a letter. In the letter, Dr. Trevino stated that the staff responded appropriately and that the student involved was immediately addressed by campus administration and law enforcement.

As a result of the serious nature of the incident, Dr. Trevino took immediate disciplinary action in accordance with Killeen Independent School District protocol. Dr. Trevino emphasized that at no time were students or staff in immediate danger, and she reassured parents that instruction continued without interruption and all students remain safe.
