WARNING: Emergency Boiling Water Issued In Killeen, Texas
The city of Killeen has issued an emergency boiling water notice. The City of Killeen will have a water crew in the 3200 through 3312 Cantabrian area that will isolate the main water line in the area.
EMERGENCY BOILING WATER NOTICE IN KILLEEN
Repairs will need to be made due to a private boring contractor hitting the water main according to the city of Killeen. There will be a water crew that will be at the site until all repairs are completed and the water services are back restored. Once the services are restored, there will be a water quality sample test that will be taken the following day with the results being available within 24 to 48 hours.
WHAT SHOULD THE RESIDENTS DO?
Residents are told to boil all water before consumption until water results confirm that there is no contamination in the water. If there are any questions or comments, residents are advised to contact the boil notice hotline at 254-501-6515 there will be a notice released through the city website and the boil water notice hotline once the notice is lifted.
