We've all done something that we aren't proud of in our past, and or most of us it has caused nothing more than some rosy cheeks. There are some people out there who have messed up so bad that the prison time wasn't near as bad as the embarrassment of just how dumb they were.

Just last week in Killeen, Texas a man was arrested for robbing a store only to return a few hours later while the police were investigating his crime. 25-year-old Andrew Crocket told a store clerk that he wanted "free juice". When the store clerk told him that they weren't giving away free juice Andrew became irate, pulled out a knife, and forced himself behind the counter to get his juice. Later he returned to the scene of the crime while the police were there. Upon searching Andrew, the police found a plastic knife.

As a father I play hide and seek with my 3 1/2-year-old daughter on a daily basis. I'm pretty good because I have 40 years of experience over her. She possesses her own advantages due to her little size and being able to fit into places I don't even know exist. The one thing that both my daughter and I do that makes us both difficult to find is not yelling out, "I'm not here" if the person seeking says, "where are you". Not telling people where you are is the number one tip I would give to people when asking for a winning Hide and Seek strategy. Well, one Texas man could have really used that advice. As he was evading police, he jumped into a dumpster to hid from them. As they were searching the area I assume they were yelling out "Oh, Criminal, where are you", and this dimwitted dullard yelled out, "I'm not here." Better luck next time.

As you see, Texas has its fair share of dim-witted delinquents. The next time you feel like you may die of embarrassment just take a look down at your wrists. Do you see handcuffs on them? No? Well then, things could be a lot worse
