Livability is a website that uses research to highlight the best places to live in the United States of America. They base their ratings on things like the quality of education, transportation, housing costs, and recreational areas and activities available in the neighborhoods.

They recently released their Top 100 Best Places to Live list, and Texas is a bright shining Lonestar on the list. There were eight Texas cities that made the list. and two of those cities are in Central Texas. One of the eight cities also made the number one spot on the list.

📍 Central Texas Pride: Round Rock and New Braunfels Shine
The cities that made the Top 100 are Abiline, Tyler, College Station, Midland, New Braunfels, Round Rock, Sugar Land, and Flower Mound. The number one spot went to Flower Mound located in Southwest Texas. Central Texas cities New Braunfels and Round Rock came in at number 18 and number 10 respectively.

👍 Round Rock's Repeat Success: Proximity, Climate, and Economy
This year marks the 2nd year in a row that Round Rock was able make the Top 100 list. Round Rock scores high and breaks into the top ten because of its proximity to Austin, the climate, the economy, and the local health care system.

New Braunfels location is a big factor for its respectable 18th placement on the list. By being located nearly dead center between Austina and San Antonio, the small town is able to offer big city perks.
