There are many restaurants that are Texas favorites; examples include Whataburger & Dairy Queen. But for places to sit down & eat, Village Inn is also a favorite (especially if you want those PIES). However, if you want to find the classic orange Village Inn signs, they're gone for the most part in Texas. That is...except for 1 city. And all you need to do is travel to farrrr West Texas.

Which Texas city can you find Village Inn?

if you go to Village Inn's official Locations page, and you type in "Texas", you WILL NOT find results in big cities like San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston. Nor will you find any in Amarillo, Abilene, etc. There ARE locations in states that are close to Texas; New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona... they all have Village Inns. But if you're talking SPECIFICALLY in Texas, most of them are gone.

The only place with existing Village Inn restaurants is...El Paso, Texas.

At the time of this writing, there only 6 Village Inns exist in Texas, and you'll find them in El Paso. There used to be more but they have either been transformed into a Butter Smith or something else.

Where can you find the remaining 6 Village Inns in El Paso?

You'll find on the West side of town (both on Mesa St), 1 on Joe Battle, 1 on Airway, 1 across from the Fountains at Farah & the last one on Trawood.

One other thing that's also unique about El Paso is that we're one of the last cities in Texas to have the original Arby's cowboy hat signs, which you can read HERE.
