Mario Kart, a two-year-old poodle mix who has been through more in his short life than most of us could imagine. This brave pup was struck by a car and left untreated, but his story doesn’t end there.

Thanks to the amazing people at El Paso’s Law n Paws, Mario Kart began his road to recovery with life-saving surgery, extensive medical care, and even a custom wheelchair! 

Mario’s Next Adventure: Finding his Furrever Home

Despite living with partial paralysis, his spirit remains unbroken. Mario Kart’s story has captured the hearts of many in El Paso, Texas, and soon, he’ll be rolling all the way to Spokane, Washington, where a loving family is eagerly waiting to welcome him. 

But getting there isn’t just a matter of distance—it requires special care. Mario Kart needs someone skilled to manually express his bladder, a task that requires both compassion and experience.

Enter Mario Kart’s hero: his vet tech from East El Paso Animal Hospital

This kind vet has volunteered to personally drive him from El Paso to Spokane. With stops in Salt Lake City, this incredible journey will be filled with all the love and care Mario Kart needs to ensure his trip is as smooth as possible.
