Fort Hood Shooting

At approximately 4 p.m. April 2, Spc. Ivan A. Lopez, 34, of Guayanilla, Puerto Rico and assigned to 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) fired shots at individuals in the 1st Medical Brigade area of Fort Hood, killing 3 and injuring 16. Lopez died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly thereafter.
