Judy Morales Sworn Into Temple District 2 Office

Former Temple mayor pro tem Judy Morales officially resumed her seat on the city council Thursday, approximately five months after resigning. Morales was reelected as the representative of District 2 with 63% of the vote during a special election on Saturday, July 19.

Judy Morales Wins Temple District 2 Special Election

Temple District 2 residents voted Saturday to reinstate city council member Judy Morales, who resigned from the council in March. Morales received 109 votes out of a total of 173 cast. She will officially resume her place on the council during a special meeting at 3 p.m. Thursday.
