Want a chance to become a hero?

This good deed may even save someone's life!

So, because of a critical call level of blood inventory, the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System has teamed up with Carter Blood Care to sponsor a blood drive on June 3rd from 9a-3pm.

It's happening at the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Medical Center, 1902 Veterans Memorial Drive in Temple.

They are asking for your help to replenish Texas inventories by becoming a donor!

So put your cape on, wear your mask, sign up, and donate!

According to a news release put out by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs’ Central Texas Healthcare System, donors can donate blood every 56 days and are encouraged to schedule a time to donate.

Prospective donors would have to follow all CDC guidelines in terms of physical distancing and wearing a mask when entering the facility.

This service is open to everyone, including the general public and veterans.
