Two Waco residents have lost their home due to a terrible house fire, according to reports by KWTX's Rhyan Henson. The Waco Fire Department is hard at work, investigating this fire that took place at the 2300 block of Lyle Avenue.

A fire official said the blazes of the fire broke around 2:25 a.m. on Wednesday morning. When the fire teams arrived on the scene, the air was thick with smoke, and made it very difficult to view the fire and put it out.

The two adults of the household, had already gotten outside and were not injured. The two adults who have been displaced from their home, are staying with family due to their home being a total loss.

The fire officials said it took around 20 minutes to get the fire under control, and four different fire units worked together to help get the inferno under control.
