Neighbor Leads to Burglary Arrest

A neighbor helped police arrest an apartment burglary suspect in Killeen.

John Cory Williamson has been charged with burglary of a habitation after allegedly breaking into a North 12th Street apartment on Tuesday and stealing video games.

A man reported seeing someone break into the apartment next to his. He could see the man walking around holding video games, and alerted him that he was calling the police. The man ran out of the apartment. The neighbor chased him, but was unable to stop him.

A witness to the foot chase later told police he believed the burglar lived in a neighboring home. Both the witness and the neighbor identified Williamson as the burglar.
