KWTX reported that the Lady Bears of Baylor had to cut ties with one of their dominant guards from last year's team.

Lady Bears Basketball Head Coach Kim Mulkey said, "Sophomore guard Alexis Morris has been dismissed from the Lady Bears basketball program due to a violation of team rules."

With the unfortunate loss of Morris, the Lady Bears will be losing one of their most efficient shooters from the outside in the process.

Morris was shooting the three ball at a clip of 46.2 percent last year hitting 30 of her 65 three pointers. Moore began finding her mark learning behind veteran guard Kristy Wallace. She was going to take the forefront this year, and was expected to be a big contributor to the Lady Bears basketball team this year.
