Pack of Hope Collects Food for Centex Children

KWTX reported that many children in the Central Texas area aren't for certain when or where their next meal may come from in life.

Some children may go hungry on the weekends when school is not in session. There is a group of volunteers that have taken a step to the forefront, and want to help eliminate childhood hunger in the Central Texas area.

The Pack of Hope is partnered with Allen Samuels car dealership and Waco Women's Lions Club to donate as much food as possible to Central Texas children.

The three organizations are working together to fill five Fiats around Waco and the McLennan County area with food.

All of the food collected in the process, will be given out to Central Texas children to ensure they don't go hungry on the weekends.
