$1 Million Bond Set for Suspect in Fatal Killeen Stabbing
A Killeen woman's bond has been set at $1 million after her arrest on suspicion of murder.
Bell County Jail records indicate 28-year-old Marcia Jadonna Burchett was booked at 2:48 PM Friday, November 9. She was charged with first degree murder and third degree injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent of bodily harm.
Alex Cano with our news partner, KWTX, reports that Burchett's arrest warrant stemmed from a stabbing that occurred in the 2800 block of Phoenix Drive in Killeen on June 9, 2018.
Police were initially called to the scene after someone reported a woman not breathing. When they arrived, they found 29-year old Heather Mae Walker dead and determined that she'd been stabbed repeatedly.
