The Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo is back at full speed this year!

It was scaled down a bit last year due to COVID-19, but starting Friday through October 17th you can enjoy all of the events and activities.

According to KWTX, admission for people aged 3 and up is $5, and the carnival rides are $2.

There will be tons of events, such as a petting zoo and the Mexican Rodeo Spectacular, plus the Florez Family Thrill show! (A personal favorite of mine.)

Reportedly there’s an online fair guide that works like an app that you can find at hotfairguide.com that is suggested to be used this year.

By using the app, you’ll be able to get parking information, find out who’s performing, all of the attractions, the daily schedule, and also an option to purchase tickets.

It all happens at the Extraco Event Center in Waco located at 4601 Bosque road.

The fall weather really makes this the perfect time to get out and have fun at the fair, so get out there and enjoy yourself! There'll be live music, the livestock show, and of course the major attractions - the rodeo and all that fair food!

There's even a wine and beer garden this year, so let the kids ride the rides while you enjoy some adult beverages, right?

The proceeds from the fair go to a scholarship fund for Central Texas kids, so know that while you're having a great time, you're also supporting a worthy cause. It's a win-win!
