Folks, it may happen again.

I don't have to remind Texans of the horror we experienced earlier this year with Winter Storm Uri.

111 people died, thousands of people were faced with expensive electricity bills and millions were out of electricity for days.

Brace yourselves because it seems as though we may experience rolling blackouts again.

Texas power grid failed spectacularly when February's winter storm hit. Now, experts are warning that it could fail again during what could be a summer of record-breaking heat.
The warning comes days after ERCOT asked Texans to conserve energy because warm April temperatures were reportedly putting stress on the grid.
ERCOT claims it has enough resources to meet summer demands but has not ruled out the possibility of rolling blackouts.
My advice is when you go out shopping for grocery items and supplies, stock up on food, water and supplies just in case.
Please be careful and plan ahead.
