KWTX's Christoper Shadrock reported that numerous fire teams from different departments where needed to handle an inferno on a Central Texas highway Wednesday.

The fire teams were fighting a fire that was burning in a big metal building that was located near the intersection of  FM 56 and State Highway 22 in Laguna Park.

The flames were so ferocious, that highway 22 had to be shut down. Reports came in that around eight different fire departments had their teams on the scene to extinguish the flames.

The fire broke out late Wednesday morning, and a fire official said highway 22 will be closed until this evening. The building where the fire was brewing, held many old cars on the inside of the building.
