Busy Day For Texas Senate

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — The Texas Senate is scheduled to vote on the state's political maps and a new sentence for 17-year-olds convicted of capital murder. Senators are expected to vote this morning on the issues. They are then scheduled to meet in committees expected to approve additional funding for highways and restrictions on abortion.
