Car Crashes into Belton School Bus in Morgan’s Point

Morgan’s Point Police responded to a crash involving a Belton ISD bus and a car Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Morgan’s Point Road and Apache Lane.

The collision occurred as the bus was coming to a stop to unload students shortly after 4:30 PM. The bus was hit from behind by a car traveling in the same direction. 10 students and a driver aboard the bus were uninjured, but the driver was transported to Scott and White Hospital in Temple for emergency treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
