Central Texas, Do You Know The Gumbo Man? Yummy!

My only problem with Central Texas is that the restaurants close too early. I have never been a person that liked fast food. I don’t want Burger King or a Taco Bell in the middle of the night - I want real home-cooked food.

Carolina Gumbo is by far the most clutch, to the rescue local business I have ever dealt with. I am talking gumbo with rue that is so flavorful, sausage, shrimp, and don’t forget the rice that would blow your mind.

The best thing about Carolina Gumbo is that he will deliver to you in the middle of the night. Now, he’s not 24 hours, but I know for a fact that I’ve ordered gumbo at 1 o’clock in the morning and not only did he deliver, but it was also piping hot and absolutely delicious.

Anybody that’s willing to deliver that late at night understands the hustle and the key ingredient that makes it work - really good food. You can tell that his gumbo is expertly prepared, and he invests his time in making sure that it tastes delicious. There are times I’ve gone to Jack in the Box and they've forgotten pickles on my burger, and this young man is out here making actual gumbo and hitting all of the right ingredients, customer service, and flavors.

I think my favorite part about the gumbo (besides how delicious it is) is the fact that he delivers it with no fee and it only cost $15 a bowl. These bowls are huge and he’s driving all the way from Nolanville to all parts of Central Texas. He’s like the gumbo Batman saving the day (or night) from hunger.
