
Central Texas Teen In Custody For Shooting
KWTX reports that a teenager was takent into custody Tuesday for a shooting that left another teen with life-threatening injuries.
Anthony Alexander Gallardo, 18, of Killeen, was being held in lieu of $250,000 bond. Gallardo turned himself in to the authorities Monday after a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was issued.
The charge stems from a shooting that took place around 8:25 p.m.on April 8th in the 4600 block of Hank Drive in Killeen. The victim was taken to Metroplex Hospital, and was eventually transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
A Killeen Police Department spokesperson said, "During the altercation, the suspect produced a handgun and shot the victim in the face." The victim shot was 18 years old as well.
