A Coryell County man has reportedly pleaded guilty to gunning a man down in November of 2017 because he "got a bad vibe" from the victim.

John Carroll with our news partner, KWTX, writes that Bobby Wayne Whitehead pleaded guilty in Gatesville Friday to murdering 31-year-old Michael Steven Paradise on November 17, 2017.

Paradise was shot while answer a knock on the door of his home on Julia Drive. His son was home at the time. Coryell County authorities arrested Whitehead after an informant told them White head mentioned having driven to his ex-wife's home and seen Paradise near his children, which gave him a "bad vibe".

Whitehead is scheduled to be sentenced on February 25. He remained in the Coryell County Jail Friday in lieu of bonds totaling $1,002,500.
