First responders in Temple responded to a crash at a busy intersection in Temple Thursday morning.

A Temple Fire & Rescue spokesperson reports that a truck and a sedan collided at the intersection of South 1st Street and West Avenue H shortly before 9 AM.

When firefighters arrived, the spotted an engine fire in the truck and quickly extinguished it.

Police and EMS were also at the scene, and the drivers of both vehicles were transported to Baylor Scott & White Hospital for assessment. Their conditions were not released.

First responders were busy in Waco around lunchtime, as well.

Christopher Shadrock with our partners at News 10 reports that a chain-reaction crash occurred on Bagby Avenue and Loop 340 shortly after Noon. Four vehicles were reportedly involved, a woman was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Be careful out there, folks. Keep the radio on, relax, and don't get in too much of a rush.
