Devoted Georgetown Father Tries to Fulfill Last Wish of His Wife

A father from Georgetown is trying to make his wife's' dying wish come true.

According to KVUE, Joel Mota is trying to get his adopted son a cochlear implant. It was his wife's dying request.

Rosie Mota passed away from from stage four breast cancer on May 23rd, 2016. It was always the couple's goal to get their son an implant. Rosie even set up a Go Fund Me account for the surgery. Her cancer had been in remission, but unfortunately, returned.
