First responders spent almost 90 minutes carving a driver out of their car overnight in Killeen.

The driver was headed towards the intersection of Elms and Robinett road in Killeen about 4 a.m. when they struck the sidewalk, drive into a culvert, and then crashed into two utility poles before coming to a stop. Crews got the driver out of the black Dodge Avenger around 5:30 in the morning.

The person driving the dodge was awake the entire time first responders worked to free them from the vehicle. Police believe the driver's speed was likely a factor in the crash.

Oncor is working to repair the damage to the utility lines.
