Early Morning Shooting at Killeen Apartment Complex

Shots rang out overnight in Killeen at the Willow Apartment complex at the 1100 block of Willow Springs Road just before 3am Thursday morning.

KWTX reports that police arrived to find a woman alone in the parking lot who had been wounded by gunfire. First responders attempted CPR, but could not revive her.

The woman was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Claudia Brown. An autopsy has been scheduled. Killeen PD continue to investigate this shooting.

Reports say a verbal argument occurred before the sound of gunfire rang out. Anyone with information should contact the Killeen Police Department at (254) 501-8830.
