Early Morning Shooting on Roadrunner Drive in Killeen Sends Child, Woman to Hospital

Killeen police are investigating a Wednesday morning shooting that sent a child and a woman to separate hospitals.

KWTX reports that the shooting occurred shortly before 4 AM in the 2700 block of Roadrunner Drive. Police have not released details concerning the extend of the victims' injuries, nor have they mentioned a suspect.

The child was transported to Temple's McLane Children's Hospital. The woman was taken to Killeen's Metroplex Hospital.
