Unfortunately, since the start of the pandemic, we've seen a lot of businesses, big and small, close their doors, and the hits just keep on coming as another Central Texas establishment shuts its doors.

We told you recently about Luby's plans to close and liquidate all of the company's assets after 73 years in business, but Luby's Inc. also owns Fuddruckers and they too were included in the "liquidation" plans.

Unfortunately, the Killeen Fuddruckers location at 2301 E. Central Texas Expressway next to the Killeen Mall will be closing down permanently according to a post to the restaurant's Facebook page on Monday.

While Killeen maybe losing its location, the Waco location of Fuddruckers at 1411 North Vallley Mills Drive, will remain open and won't be part of the company's liquidation process.

So if you want to enjoy what's been called "The World's Greatest Hamburger" you'll have to go the extra mile for it. So long Fudds.
