Got Bulk in Belton? The City Can Help June 9
If you've got old, bulky items lying around that you've been meaning to get around to getting rid up, now's the time to stop procrastinating and start eliminating!
Saturday, June 9, Belton citizens can take those bulky items to the city's Public Works Facility, 1502 Holland Road. There, the city will have 30-yard trash containers available for disposing of items over 50 pounds.
Note: This is NOT a hazardous waste collection event, so no items like chemicals or tires can be accepted. Keep an eye out for future hazardous waste collection events, and remember that if you drop a refrigerator off at the June 9 event, it must be drained of refrigerant and given a green label to indicate it's safe to dispose of.
This event is only open to Belton residents, and you'll need to show a copy of your City of Belton utility bill to participate.
The next bulk disposal event isn't until August 4, so take advantage now if you need to make space now!
