Gunshot Victim Crashes Car into Texas School Bus
A shooting victim witnesses say was being chased passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle and crashed into a Spring ISD school bus Tuesday morning.
KPRC-TV reports that the crash occurred around 7:15 AM at the intersection of FM 1960 and Rolling Creek Drive in Spring.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the shooting occurred at an apartment complex a few blocks southwest of the site of the collision. The shooting victim was fleeing the scene in a white BMW sedan. It's not clear if he was being chased from the scene or simply trying to get to a hospital. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to Gonzalez, 10 teenage students and a driver were aboard the bus at the time of the crash. All were transported safely from the scene with no reported injuries.
