Harker Heights Arrest Made

Harker Heights police have arrested Bryan Anthony Shinsky in connection with a July 25 shooting that injured one man.

Shinsky was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and his bond was set at $100,000.

Shinksky has been identified as a homeless man from Killeen. He was arrested on Saturday, but the arrest was not announced until Tuesday.

Police responded to a call around 9 a.m. on July 25 reporting that a man had been shot at a house on South Juanita Drive. The victim, Justin Ramirez, had been shot once in the torso, and was taken to Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
