Harker Heights Man Shot In Leg

KWTX's Alex Cano reported that Harker Heights authorities found a man shot on a sidewalk Friday night.

The man was found on the 300 block of Illinois Drive bleeding from his leg from a gunshot wound.

The man told the authorities he was returning to his residence from shopping, and once he entered the home he was shot by someone that was inside.

The man was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, and is being treated for the gunshot wound he received.
