A quick-thinking kindergartener from the Hewitt, Texas area is being called a hero!

This little guy is a great example of why you wanna teach your children to know their address and phone number, along with how to call 9-1-1 in an emergency.

Six-year-old Boston Rosas was taking pictures with his family in a field of bluebonnets a couple weeks ago when his stepmother began having an asthma attack. The onset of the attack was rather severe, causing his mother to black out. He tried calling relatives on his mother's cell phone, but was unable to reach anyone. Boston then dialed 9-1-1 to ask for help.

KWTX reports the little man wasn't exactly familiar with his surroundings, but was able to direct emergency responders to his location by describing the landmarks nearby. Hewitt firefighter Trent Barker told KWTX that he had never seen a young person handle a 9-1-1 situation so well as Boston did.
