I-35 Stalled After Morning Accidents

Two major traffic accidents brought I-35 to a standstill Friday morning.

TexDOT closed the highway from north Temple to Lorena after an 18-wheeler jackknifed, and a collision between three 18-wheelers in Bruceville-Eddie caused another shutdown. The north Temple accident reportedly required hazmat cleanup.

TexDOT expects portions of the highway in these areas to be closed until around 9 a.m., so be extra cautious and find alternative routes.
